German-Canadian Integration Workshops

Together with the University of Toronto, HITI is organising a two-part program on the subject „The Integration of Immigrants: A Comparison between Canada and Germany.“. Two workshops are being organized, one which take place in Berlin in May 2008 and the second which will take place in Toronto in June 2008. Experts from academia, politics and NGOs will come together to compare the German and Canadian immigration policies and to determine what each side can learn from the other. The program, which is supported by the Transatlantic Programm of the German government, will take place in English.
