Clinton Advisor John Podesta to speak at HITI on November 15

The Humboldt Institution on Transatlantic Issues (HITI) and
the German Marshall Fund of the United States
invite you to the following event:

John Podesta, President of the Center for American Progress and former White House Chief of Staff(1998-2000) will speak on the topic „Global Warning: Energy Security in a Changing World“ on Thursday, November 15 2007, at 5 pm.

John Podesta, White House Chief of Staff under Bill Clinton from 1998-2000, is today President of the influential liberal think tank „Center for American Progress“ and is considered a close confidant of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The New York Times once called Mr. Podesta "one of the democratic party's sharpest and toughest operatives."

Following his speech, which will be held in English, Mr. Podesta will answer questions from the Audience.

This event is open to the public.
