Transatlantic Business Issues

Credit and financial institutions are one of the most powerful economic fronts of the world, understood by such entities to banks, credit unions, compensation funds and other institutions of this kind, and being so powerful these must be properly regulated by law.

To regulate and control these institutions, was born Superbancaria – superintendent of banks, now known after merging with the Securities as financial supervision, in charge of controlling, supervising and regulating financial activity.

This entity is part of the ministry of finance and public credit, and is responsible for putting in a line to all entities that work with financial resources, as mentioned earlier, also to regulate and control the creation and closure of these entities.

Although the figure of the Superbancaria – banking superintendence no longer exists as such, these activities are still underway, as noted by the Financial Supervision, which maintains the aforementioned activities as part of their daily functions.
